Whoops!

Someone is just a tad bit obsessed with water and her pool. As she was hanging out with Mommy and Nana on a Sunday afternoon, she decided she was going to go in her pool....clothes, diaper and all!  HA HA I love this kid!

Daddy Time

Taylor has been having a blast at her new house...and today she had even more of a reason to love her new backyard...Daddy decided to play with her!  They ran around in the sprinklers, played in the pool and even played "Tag".  It was tough teaching her the rules and she still only semi-understands what to do, but either way....a good time had by all!

(Playing tag----daddy was "it")
(Sitting in the pool, with the sprinklers on...and the hose on as well!)

Just chillin with daddy!

Buddies

Taylor just loves her new cousin Cade.  Cade doesnt like dolls like Taylor's other cousins.  He loves cars.  And boy do these two have fun playing together!

Over Father's Day weekend, they had a blast with one another. Here, they were hiding (and prolly up to no good) on Papa and Grandma's back porch playing!

And of course, stopped to pose and say "cheese".

So cute!

And then again last Thursday, we met Grandma, Aunt Megan, Ayla and Cade in Columbia at the mall for lunch.  And these two had a blast....again!

They have so much fun together! So glad Cade became a part of our family :)

Fishies!!

We picked up Nana from the airport today and then headed to the Georgia Aquarium. Taylor loves fishies (as well as every animal on this planet HAHA) so I just knew she'd enjoy it.

SHE. HAD. A. BLAST!!!!

(Trying to touch the fishies---and no, I have no idea who those kids are HAHA)

(Looking up at the fish, she was so excited they were swimming around her!)
(Trying to touch them again)

PENGUINS!  They were having fun playing with her!

(She had so much fun!)
(Posing with Nana for a picture)

(Jellyfish)

(Riding the escalator like the big people)

And pooped out, waiting to head home after a long day!

We're on a boat!

For Father's Day weekend, we headed to SC to spend time with the in-laws. We decided to spend the day on Bobby's boat...and we had a ball! It was Taylor's first time on a boat and she loved every second of it. It was the first time Bobby's boat had been in the water too, so Taylor got the opportunity to "christen" it.....in more ways than one!

This is how southerners do it....eating fried chicken while on the boat!

Bobby getting pulled over!

And getting his "warning" HAHA
Mallory, TJ, Tim and Taylor (in her lifejacket) hanging out on the front

Taylor "christening" Uncle Bobby's boat! LMAO

Yes, she gets a playground

Yes, my child is spoiled. Yes, she is an only child (until November at least).  And yes, we spend lots of money on her. But we have been so excited to have a yard now, we bought her a playground.  And she loved it....

for a whole minute, then it was back to playing in the dirt.
Nutty kid.

Her first ice cream cone!

Yes, I know my child is 2 and has never had an ice cream cone. Do you think I havent been trying?  If you know her, you'd know she's a picky eater. She wont eat meat and she hates when you give her a piece of food with something hanging off it (i.e., cheese on a fry).   So....up until this point, when she's eaten ice cream, she just demands a scoop put on a plate and eats it with her fingers. Yes, fingers.  She will use a fork/spoon here and there for things, but ice cream is not one of them.

Until yesterday....
That's a mini-drumstick. I saw it in the freezer section at the store today and KNEW she'd eat it!  HA HA mom's so smart :)
I have a feeling she'll be eating a lot of ice cream, the right way, from now on :)
**Dont mind the nakedness, we were outside sweating doing yardwork, so I stripped her down when we got in the house to cool her off LOL**

Trying to get up to date....

Bare with me...I'm trying to update the blog when I can.  Been a busy few weeks.

Until I can get to uploading pictures, I leave you with Miss Cool Cat!

Yup, I know she's a ham!

Backyard deprived...TIL NOW :)

So, living in VA, Taylor had been severly deprived of having the "backyard experience" as I call it. Yes there were neighborhood playgrounds (which werent all that great if you ask me), but she had a backyard that was 25 square feet. Yup, I'm not kidding. (And for you non-math nerds, it's 5 feet long by 5 feet wide).  And that backyard we did have didnt have grass and collected water like it was the Hoover dam.  So it was constantly muddy, filled with bugs and just plain out nasty.  Even too nasty just to play in the mud.

Fast forward to where we are now :)  She has a YARD!  And it's a BIG ONE!  And she LOVES it!
We've already put her kiddie pool out there and spent a few nice days out there catching some rays and running through the sprinkler or lounging in the baby pool!  Taylor is in heaven.  And sometimes watching her play makes me feel like we've deprived her (unintentionally of course) with not giving her a backyard. Good thing is we wont have to worry about that ever again :)

Here are some pics from Taylor playing in her pool in her new yard....with daddy.

We just ordered her a playground to go in her backyard too (which will arrive on the 18th-20th of June) so we are anxiously awaiting on that :)
